Respected Sir,
Subject: Suggestions to handle 3rd wave -regarding
On behalf of the nation, I sincerely appreciate your efforts in initiating EDLI and PM Cares for Children schemes. Kindly implement the same effectively and efficiently to reach the grass root levels in society. As you are aware sir, The third wave is being anticipated by the scientific experts' world over and it may affect children and youth to a large extent. Few ideas have germinated from my end, hoping that they may reach your valued office for further perusal. Suggestions pointwise sir for your valued consideration.
1. Central Government should take over for the next 1 year all the Paediatric, Neo-Natal, OBG wards in all the Private Hospitals, Nursing homes and PHC s. Instal Emergency Response system equipment and medicines to handle the third wave.2. Humble request – Kindly inform all Central and State government Ministers and Staff not to use the word “SUPER SPREADERS” on Media personnel, Postal Department and Other essential Covid warriors. They are risking not only their lives but also endangering their loved ones, hence, in the present scenario, it is inappropriate to call them SUPER SPREADERS is my plea. Kindly call them HIGH-RISK TAKERS (HRT s)
3. Dividing the nation into 6 zones, namely, North, East, West, South, Central and North East. Every Zone will be headed by HEALTH LEAD TEAM of Lead District Magistrate /Concerned District Magistrates / Vice Chancellors of different universities as highest authorities to instruct concerned Municipal Commissioners, District Health Officers, Anganwadi Centres, Asha Workers etc for direct implementation of COVID – VACCINATION, TESTING AND CREATION of ISOLATION ZONES. ( C-VTIZ’s)
4. Kindly make the Central &State- Government and Private Educational institutions be opened for vaccination drive for children and youth in their respective institutions on a rotation basis in municipal areas and gram panchayats. Such that overcrowding and further spread can be curbed to large extent.
5. Every Private Educational Institution should have access to emergency Ambulances within a 2-3 km radius and a Health care Emergency Response team fully trained to handle 3rd wave scenario.
6. Kindly instruct all the International Educational Institutions, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya schools, Social Welfare Schools, Universities to allocate at least 6 rooms for C-VTIZ’s.
7. Kindly instruct all the VC’s, NSS teams and NCC teams to allocate at least 6 rooms for C-VTIZ’s in their campuses
8. Kindly audit now on war-footing the Neo-Natal Care and OBG Care Equipments and medicines in every private hospital and nursing homes. Kindly focus on nationwide PHC’s.
9. Kindly inform every parent to keep their insurance documents handy
10. Kindly bring in an ordinance to inform all private hospitals not to insist on cash and allow treatment on insurance policies and Ayushman Bharat. Most of the corporate hospitals (especially in Telangana) are looting the common and are insisting on cash-only treatment. These criminal acts of those vultures need to punished with severe financial and personal punishment. An act is needed for all future purposes for any future mishaps
11. Special focus to integrate NGO s, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), and other civil society organizations to convert the nearest available community halls, public spaces for at least 6 rooms for C-VTIZ’s.
12. All the defence hospitals, CGHS centres to be made ready for the 3rd wave to allocate at least 6 rooms for C-VTIZ’s.
13. Kindly announce special ex gratia for all Covid Warriors and High-Risk Takers and insurance cover for the same
14. In major parts of India, Most of the house owners, apartment societies, gated community societies are creating a barrier for not allowing recovered patients to come back to their place of residence before admission into the hospital for Covid care or Non-Covid Care. People who are bearing the brunt are the Non-Covid Care patients who are being subjected to undue harassment citing covid reasons. Kindly inform, instruct and create awareness on this in all media and also in your Mann Ki Baat. Kindly inform all Police Stations to recognize this as a cognizable offence
15. This is time to strengthen the health care infrastructure at all tourist spots in India and empower the Tourism ministry across all states. Time for India to show that we take care of our Foreign and Domestic tourists with the same emergency
16. Before there is a surge in the NORTHEAST and coastal belts across India. Kindly strengthen the NE Zone for the present 2nd wave and protect from all ends for the impending 3rd wave.
17. Pan India the educators working in the private sector have been pushed to the brink of their financial savings and are living in dire straits. Kindly issue DBT to them as a humble request
18. Rains are due next month, Agriculturists to be given Genuine seeds, Crop Insurance, Temperature controlled storages to be built from MPLADS funds on an emergency basis
